LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN COACHING

Age Range:                          Candidates may register at 19 years of age.

The holder of this qualification will be able to plan, implement, analyse and revise annual coaching programmes.  In addition, they will be able to deliver a seasonal or annual coaching plan.  The Level 3 Equine Coach will be a fully autonomous, accomplished coach with equestrian skills and knowledge.

If you are interested in attaining the Level 3 Certificate in Coaching in one or more of the pathways listed above, you should contact a Centre approved to deliver and assess the qualification.  Please see the attached list of EQL Approved Certificate in Coaching Centres currently piloting this qualification (subject to UKCC endorsement).

The Level 3 qualification is still under development.  The BEF will be producing Learning Resources, Assessor and Tutor Notes and these will be available from Approved Centres in due course. 

 Fees:-

 

The fees for these qualifications are available from the respective member body on request and will comprise the candidate’s *registration and certification fee and necessary training and assessment costs.  Each candidate will be provided with a candidate pack and learning support resource, included within the cost. 

*Period of Registration:-

Candidates’ registration with this qualification is valid for a period of two years from the date of registration/beginning of the learning programme (whichever is earlier).  It is expected that candidates will complete all aspects of the assessment for the qualification and an application for certification be made, within their period of registration.  Candidates who are unable to complete their assessment within the period may apply, with good reason and via their respective member body, to extend their registration for a further six months.  A fee will be charged for this extension.
